I’ve always wanted to visit Afghanistan, it was one place Pa didn’t allow me to ‘tag along’ despite my teenage tantrums.

For a good third of my life my Pa hasn’t always been around. I’ve become quite used to it all, not seeing him for multiple months during certain periods. It’s not much fun having an ‘often absent’ father. Putting up with limited contact through bad Skype connections certainly isn’t the greatest. But the photos and stories have always managed to spread a smile across my face.

I came across these photos again the other day while sifting through the hard drive, just a few nice shots of Afghanistan my old Pa took. No one’s really seen them, apart from my little family. So I’d thought I’d post them up, only because I haven’t done anything for a while. 

Someday, one day, I’ll make it there.
